Public Meeting Thirsk Saturday 7th December
Time For Real Change: Inside the Labour Manifesto
We are holding a public meeting in Thirsk on Saturday to present and answer questions on our manifesto. As well as our candidate David Yellen we will have a panel of Party members dealing with our Education, NHS/Health and Housing manifestos. This is a public meeting and the first time we have ever attempted something like this. Please come to support David but please also bring non-members if you can. 2.00 to 4.30 at Thirsk & Sowerby Institute.
We’ve About Finished Here. Now Go to Scarborough or York.
Our leafletting in Thirsk & Malton is nearing completion; just mopping up in a few spots. That means we have distributed by hand almost 30,000 leaflets in just two weeks. That is a fantastic achievement. Very well done everyone. We must now throw all our available resources into the campaigns in Scarborough/Whitby and York Outer, including on election day itself. A huge amount of work has already been done in these target seats. Hugo Fearnley and Anna Perrett believe that we are within reach of taking them from the Tories. But this next week is absolutely crucial in getting the Labour vote out. Jeremy’s visits to Whitby and York on Sunday underline how much importance is attached to them.

COIL Were Brilliant and Raised £300
Many thanks to COIL and Scarborough sound engineer Bob Walker for a great night and for their generosity in doing the gig for costs only. And many thanks to all who came. I haven’t got over failing to win the Jeremy Corbyn Christmas Cake though. |
