Our constituency is one of the largest geographically in England, stretching fifty miles from Filey on the East coast to the market town of Thirsk, and from the North York Moors to the Yorkshire Wolds. It has been in its current form since 2010, and was created from the previous constituency of Ryedale. Labour has held second place in General Elections after 2010, with our vote share varying between 15% and 25%.
