Thirsk & Malton Labour
Meeting Labour activists in Malton, David Yellen lauded the Labour manifesto for its common sense approach to addressing many problems facing our country. He described how we have come to accept as normal the thousands of foodbanks across the country and that parents have to fundraise for essential text books in schools. Average length of service in role for newly-qualified teachers is now no more than 7 years, as lack of funding and lack of support grinds down our essential public services.
We deserve better, we should expect better and Labour will deliver better.
