Your Candidate for Malton
Samsom Muteke is your Labour Party candidate for Malton in the upcoming elections to North Yorkshire County Council. He is grateful that he has an opportunity to share his experience and knowledge in serving the local community.
Samson is an advocate of and firm believer in social democracy. Having worked across diverse communities from all over the world, he knows that evil prevails where good people sit and do nothing.
He says that ‘the range of economic injustices to communities today is appalling and unwanted in the 21st century, regardless of your social status or political affiliation. Local government must be the focus of the change communities need and must encourage citizen engagement to achieve this’
As a trade unionist representing workers in the largest employer in this area, the Malton Bacon factory, in 14 years of service Samson has initiated and witnessed positive change through meaningful engagement.
The community deserves a committed representative who has the guile, compassion and character to end the complacency of our Tory dominated County Council.
Samsom says that he has an instinct for solutions that make a real difference and I have the drive to get things done. It’s time for change especially now when the communal spirit has been ravaged by the pandemic. We need to come together.
