We are pleased to announce that David Yellen has been selected to stand for Labour in Thirsk and Malton. David has lived in Ryedale for the last twelve years and has recently retired from North Yorkshire County Council where he worked as a manager within children’s services for over 30 years. He has seen first hand how ten years of Tory and LibDem austerity has impacted ordinary people in our constituency. With little public transport, little – if any – affordable housing and virtually no social housing, how do people with no car access jobs, health care and shopping?
David is a trustee of Ryedale Community Transport as well as being chair of the local Labour Party
To meet David in person, come along to one of the following events:
9th November. Malton/Norton Branch, 2.00 Friends Meeting House, Malton
11th November. Vale of York Branch, 7.00 in Easingwold
16th November. Filey/Hunmanby Branch. 2.00 in Filey.
